Title: 2017 NFL thread
Post by: AxlsMainMan on November 01, 2017, 04:11:33 PM
At the halfway point and the Eagles look like the best of the NFC while the Chiefs, Steelers and Patriots look like the best of the AFC.

Don't sleep on the Seahawks in the NFC.  I can see them being a tough out in the playoffs too.

This NFL season has been exhausting...

between the off the field nonsense, the President being the biggest troll of all time, and injuries to key players...

and my Giants are an embarrassment....fire everybody please, but that's another story

would like to see the Chiefs make a run at it... another Patriot superbowl is something nobody needs to see ha

but anybody but the Eagles is fine with me  : ok:

Much needed win for the Jets last night. Where was that team last week? And the week before? And the week before.........

They wont make the playoffs but will be just too good for a high level draft pick.  >:(

Nothing Pat fans? lol

As usual the drama is hilarious...

what he did with Butler is incredible... maybe cost a whole organization a super bowl just to swing his dick around.

LOL. I can't blame Pats fans. they had a rough week

- dynasty ended by Philly

- belicheat outcoached by Dougie P.

- Brady loses 3rd SB

- Brady shows lack of class by not shaking hands with the QB that outplayed him

- Brady molests his 10-year-old son

Let's not go crazy... In 16 full seasons Brady has been to 8 Super Bowls, and 12 AFC Championships they will play in at least one of those next year

- Brady loses 3rd SB

and like the other 2 he lost he scored a go ahead 4th quarter TD to then turn the ball over to his defense to lose the game... BUT to give full credit to Philly's Defense, the did make 1 play with 2:20 left in the game with was the final difference

- Brady shows lack of class by not shaking hands with the QB that outplayed him

505 yards, 3 TD's, 0 Int's, 115 Rating... Foles outplayed the Pats Defense not Brady... Also look into what Brady did in between the locker rooms after the game (along with his wife)

Brady fumbled with the game on the line. Foles led a 7-minute TD drive with the game on the line.

Brady dropped a pass that hit him right in the hands. Foles showed him how its done.

Foles led TD drives early, while Brady was racking up FGs.

I don't care what happened in the locker room. if Brady had an ounce of class, he would reach out to the opposing QB after a loss. But all I saw was Brady run into 2 eagles players, and yes he shook their hands rather than ignore them. his wife actually went out of her way to congratulate every Eagles player she could find. sad that she has to be involved and lead their efforts of good sportsmanship.

today I saw a picture of Brady crying in his wife's arms after the game. not sure if he was upset about the loss, or upset that his 10-year-old son doesn't like to make out with him.

Safe to say Steelers vs. Patriots was the regular season game of the year.

I've watched the SB 4 times. just an incredible game. one of the best SBs ever.

Kelce gave the greatest speech at a championship parade in the history of sports.

It's been a month and Philly is still on a major high from that SB win. it's really indescribable. Red Sox fans can probably relate from their '04 win, although probably tough to remember that great feeling after all the winning they've had in the last several years.

I love that NY fans are so pissed the eagles won. not only did we kill Brady's GOAT argument, but now the giants are not the only team to have beaten belichick/brady in a SB. we also didn't do it with luck...Birds outplayed and outcoached them.

gonna be a fun year enjoying this win.

Had to come back to LOL at that comment about "killing Brady's GOAT argument"

It is too bad we don't have more NFL fans on here.

Being a NY Jets fan made it weird to cheer for Brady this year, but my #2 team is the Bucs and has been for a long time so I'm happy the GOAT brought success for them.

I just set the fantasy draft (9/7 at 9:30pm) so if you were in the league last year check the league page and/or email. Sorry for the lateness but life is crazy. If anyone wants in or out let me know.

Sorry for responding a year later, but I just noticed this now.  I think we had an odd number of teams and I never heard back from you, so I had to make a tough decision.  I also didn't think you checked on your team the previous season.  Sorry if that wasn't the case.  I could get you back in (if you see this in the next day or two), but we'd need another team so there's an even number.

I set up the draft for Tuesday 9/6 at 8:30 PM EST.

Denver Broncos 20 - 70 Miami Dolphins
The 70 points they put up on the Denver Broncos was the most scored in an NFL game since 1966.  :o
