Two years after debuting at the 2002 Bonnaroo festival, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains, featuring Primus bassist Les Claypool, Guns N' Roses drummer Brian "Brain" Mantia, Parliament/Funkadelic keyboardist Bernie Worrell, and former GN'R guitarist Buckethead, are preparing to release their debut album, The Big Eyeball in the Sky, September 7. The group is planning a tour for October

This is starting to remind me of when we first started hearing about the rumours that Buckethead was leaving.  We heard a story here and a story there, until it all built up to a confirmation from Axl.

Well now we are hearing about a band member touring in October.  We all know Tommy is touring during the summer.  With all this information, its starting to look like CD is no where near being released. Sad

Because there were no Good News, only positive rumors.

That's great, another GN'R related band release a new album...unfortunately it's not the "right" one. Next thing you know, Robin will go back to N.I.N.

from MTV.com News
Don't know if this was posted before, and I'm not sure who writes the copy for this but BH is definitely a former member of GNR while Brain, is listed as the current drummer....for what it's worth:
