VR could do like usher and release 2 singles at once, usher had 3 songs in the top 10 still may

release FTP's to adult contemporary and what other stations are in the slow format pop radio etc

release headspace to rock radio simultaneously, their cd is plummeting downt he charts

they must do something quick or the cd is gonna lose all its momentum and once that happens its tough to get it back

Definitely. August is still a month away and VR sales are dropping. Slither has been out since when...April? it's been already 3 months, time to release another single boys.

Yeah Slither's been out since April, but it's still #1 on both of the billboard rock charts, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down much. I think the beginning of August would be a good time to release the 2nd single.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Fall To Pieces?

No, it's dreadful.  It's like Creed with better guitar.  But I don't like most of Contraband.

It's good to see some others are questioning VR's single releasing strategy.

It's insane for these guys to wait a whole nother month before releasing the 3rd best ballad on the album. They'll be old news in by then in today's music business.

I still cannot comprehend why they didn't release STB's 1st. It's the song they lead their shows off with! Nevermind that it's 10X the song Slither is.

I guess I'm shocked over their singles decisions because everything else in VR's short life had been so planned out & executed perfectly. No, I think, they're messing up huge in one of the most important aspects, airplay.

I wonder how many singles they have planned to release?

Slither is a much better song then Sucker Train Blues. Sucker Train Blues is a good song, it is a opening song for shows and for a album... it isn't an single type of song you would push.

Slither is a great song, and well known. It is #1 on the Modern Rock Chart and the Mainstream Rock Chart

So overall in the rock music world, Slither is the best song out right now. Yes FTP needs to come out very soon, to help them deal with the fuckers of spectators.

Rock ON VR!

I think STB reminds me of It's SO Easy/WTTJ. Both of them were singles and I think STB would be a great single. I think anything VR would of released would be #1 on the rock chart. HOw many rock bands are getting big pushes for their cd's right now?  The rock scene seems pretty empty

Apparently "Fall To Pieces" is the next single and video.  It's a good song but I would've preferred that they did "Loving The Alien" or "You Got No Right" if they were going to do a ballad

P.S. I didn't realize there was already a thread about this.  Sorry.
