I love this song..fuck yeah. It's one of their best songs live.

Best of all is Izzy's vocals..that song wouldn't be as good if Axl was lead vocals. Izzy gives it the grit ok

This song is so Izzy. It has the kind of cynical but dignified view of life and relationships he often conveys in his songs.

DN'B is the song that got me hooked into GNR

I saw Gnr in Indy before UYI came out. They played Estranged, DnB, Right Next Door to Hell, 14 Years, Double Talkin Jive, and Nov Rain. Anyhow, the songs that stuck with me the most were DnB and 14 Years. It was so cool to hear Izzy singing at the time and Axl's background vocals were a perfect compliment. Estranged was pretty good too. Grin  Fuck it, they all sounded great and exciting.  Grin Izzy was the fucking man. Gnr jumped the shark when he left.  Sad

yeah, I don't what is it with this guy. Somehow he can capture the feeling with these kind of songs..like ' 14 years '..it's just so Izzy. I could imagine Axl singing the whole vocals on these songs but Izzy does it better.  Smiley

I always thought that it would be a fun song to hear live but unfortunately for me I've not seen a show where they played it.  I love the studio version though.  It's one of my favorites off UYI I.

It's definitely a cool tune, and one of my faves off of UYI I.

As long as we're comparing Izzy songs though, I like 14 Years better than DN'B.

I agree.  I like 14 Years better than DNB.  However, they are both great songs.  I just wish Izzy could have stayed in the band longer, so we could have heard these songs more live.
