well i know axl never but in all the old gnr shows i've seen slash n duff NEVER had their guitars plugged in n gilby did occasionally. then near the end of the chicago '92 show axl say "just a reminder that this is live not memorex (tape)" so do they mime or not???
help me i'm confused

They used wireless guitar systems. They are the same as wireless microphones, they have the transmitter, which is the thing on their strap, and then the reciever which is in the back. GN'R did not lip-sync or anything like that, they were real.

!! i didn't think they would mime but i once asked my dad if it was possible to have wireless guitars like microphones n he said no... it's his fault...he was the one who was wrong! lol
