At this moment at trying to learn everything about the 7 modes.  I would like to know if the stuff that I've learned so far is correct.

- the remaining 6 modes are referenced by the major scale(first mode).
- Since there are 12 keys to form major scales, avery key has 7 modes which multipy to be a total of 84 different sounding scales.

Is this correct?
are there any other scales that i can get some more modes out of?

Yeah it's correct. Each scale (not only major) has its own set of modes. That means minors, blues, pentatonic etc. (Which by the way, amounts to a lot of modal patterns!)
