Here Today...

« on: May 28, 2006, 01:24:53 PM »

I was in attendance at the NY shows on the 14th and 15th.

To those of you who went to these....I think it was the 14th.

Did Axl make a reference to waiting for CD about something to do with David Blaine and holding your breath?

I think he did but I am trying to remember the exact quote.

Anyone sober enough remember Tongue

"He talked about Chinese Democracy. Said the fans can hold our breath longer than David Blaine (a magician who tried a magic trick underwater last week and failed) and Axl appreciated that."

I'm not sure if I remember exactly, but he said something along the lines of:

"You and a whole lot of mother-f***ers like you can obviously hold your breath a lot longer than David Blaine. I want to thank you for that."

Didn't he say something along the lines of:

"You are all waiting for an album.  You will have to hold your breath a bit longer like David Blaine...but you will actually have to be in a snowglobe to do that"

This is for BabyGorilla and the people like him.
Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

Okay, I think he said this:

"I hear all you motherfuckers are holding your breath waiting for a particular album.  Well, you will have to wait a little bit longer, like David Blaine....you actually have to be UNDER the water and in a giant snow-globe."
