Whats the difference between flac n mp3? is it really that huge?

 peace

No its not. FLAC is usually atleast 3 to 5 times the size of an MP3 and to the human ear, it is BARELY noticable. But collecters just prefer the FLAC's, which is fine.. but timebomb here is a little over the line, and will threaten you if you are "an mp3 lover"? rofl rofl

thanks for the file

but you're wrong in your statements about FLAC files. They are not ''huge files identical to mp3 but freaky collectors want them because they are complicated people''

Differences between a FLAC file, from a real lossless source, and mp3 are VERY noticeable. Maybe not in a 10 bucks PC stereo speaker set, but in a decent audio system, the differences are more than noticeable.

In my opinion, when someone records audio from a stream, its recomendable to encode it in a 320 kbps mp3 file. It would still be a small file, and the loss of quality will be reduced at the minimum. If we are talking of just one file, like in this case, I would encode it to flac ''just in case'', but I know that its completely senseless to convert a shitty 32kbps stream to FLAC if we are talking about a 2 hours set

Yeah, i was just talking about the everyday person who just wants to download a random song. Does he pick FLAC or MP3. The obvious choice should be MP3. And the way you came off as I was reffering to collectors is wrong, because I myself do collect shows in FLAC, just for the sake of.. If Im going to collect, they might as well be in the best quality. For the sake of just getting a song and downloading, and playing it on your PC, mp3 is the right way to go. BTW, I almost always have my MP3's at 320 by the way.

I thnik the quality sounds pretty damn good to me, I wish Ron's guitar could be hear. Maybe theyll fix it tomorrow, like with Paradise City. peace

of course dude, forgive me if I sounded a little rude, I perfectly understand what you're saying

mp3 is light, it can be played everywhere, and in the relation size/quality, they are an INCREDIBLE format

thanks a lot dude  ok
