I believe he wanted NWA as tour openers during the Illusion Era, but it never happened...

They were trying to tour together as far back as the late '80s, as I remember it.? And I seem to recall recordings for one of Eazy-E's solo albums (just prior to his death).? Think that may have been guitar work with Slash.? But it didn't make the album.?

Ice-T did or wanted to record a version of WTTJ.

axl & slash did 2 songs with eazy-e, they were suposse to be on straight off the streets of mutha- fuckin compton part 1 and 2. but eazy died & it became just one album without either song. the rap axl does in rocket queen in toyko is said to be one of the raps from the 2 eazy songs. i spoke to eazy when he was on kroqs love-lines years ago & asked him about the songs with axl & he said they would be on the new album. hopefully one day they will get released. we we probally hear those before chinese democracy!!!!!

Northwest Airlines.

Or; 'Niggaz With Attitude' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N.W.A

This is where Axl's AWA/Asshole with attidue and Straight Outta Sweden jokes came from.

A critical artist of the then erupting west coast gangsta rap scene.  WAY more talent than most of the rap out these days.

Akin to GNR being classed as a 'real' rock n' roll band. The same could be said for NWA as being a true rap group. If they were still recording today, they would have made 50cent and he's cronies look like a bucks fizz tribute band.

He wears the NWA hat in the Live and Let Die video, no?

Has anyone else heard about what fear the juggalo posted?  I'd figure if they recorded music with them it would've been brought up on the board a few times before, but this is the first I've heard of it.

Yeah. If I recall, Eazy-E is where alot of the friendship between GNR & NWA came from.

NWA attempted a comeback in the late-90's/early-2000's with Snoop Dogg replacing Eazy-E, but from the start it was obviously not the same without Eazy, and once again internal strifes between Dr. Dre & Ice Cube brought it down pretty quickly.

NWA plain & simply are the greatest rap group/artist to ever roam the earth. They are the Guns N' Roses of rap.

Fuck Tha Police!

I'd like to hear a Straight Outta Compton/Welcome To The Jungle remix/mixtape.  Like, Welcome To Compton, or Straight Outta The Jungle.
