Ok, I'm happy to help out my fellow GnR fans, but I think this is gonna have to be my last time doing this.

I'd encourage everyone to get accounts on DIME, you can do that here: http://www.dimeadozen.org/account-signup.php
It will say "sorry, full..." but just keep hitting refresh. It might take you 5 minutes of hitting refresh, but eventually you WILL get an account, and it will be worth it.

I got the version available at www.newgnr.com from Dec 20th 2006 and think this is the best available version of this song from the 2006 performances. Has anyone else heard this version or think there is a better one out there?

That's cool, thank you very much! What do you think about the 2006 version? I'm loving the instrumental intro and the stop/start nature of the guitar before it kicks off, however, i'm not sure what to make of all the new synth effects and BBF's solo. It's probably cos im setteled with the 2001/2 bootlegs and not used to BBF's unorthodox style of play.
