He's going around now leeching off of the upcoming release of the CD and trying to come off as some sort of expect on GNR. He is going on the radio and selling his "Axl" book and claiming there will be a reunion after no-shows, riots, etc...This guy is a pathetic piece of cow dung and please don't give this low-life 1 cent....

i like how certain boards consider this asshole's opinion worthy of "news".     No real GnR fan takes this clown seriously

Good call. I just hope the average fan doesn't see Wall's book with Axl on the cover and buys it. Would love to spread the word that Wall is a POS and knows nothing about the band so people know not to buy his shit...

I utterly detest this guy, what a fucking loser. The more this fucker leaches off GN'R and Axl the more I understand where Axl was coming from in Get In The Ring.

Mick Wall does spread lies and controversy, he fucking wrote a book on a human being based on things he'd heard about him. How fucking shameless and egotistical can you get? There are some real low life people walking the streets today and this prick wears his lack of good character and morals like a medal. I think he is fair game and if I ever have the unfortunate luck of meeting him I will gladly be giving him a slap around the dish for his endevours.

The guy is entitled to his opinion.   I just don't get why GnR fans would care about that opinion because he is meaningless and we know his agenda.    But apparently in some places its considered big news when he farts or posts a blog.

I was given W.A.R. by Mick Wall as a gift and I read it about 6 months ago. To be honest it was a good read, because I love reading GNR stuff, but disappointing because I thought it would have more information or stories about Axl than it did.

It was the usual shit we already know, but I will say the guy does not say anything negative about Axl or the band that I recall off the top of my head. The book talks a lot about Axl's upbringing and how he was abused as a child, his musical influences, how he would get in trouble in Indiana, when he moved to L.A., etc. Then it gets into how GNR was formed and talks a lot about the making of AFD and less about Axl. There are a few stories (which I don't recall right now) that were new and interesting but nothing shocking or surprising.

By the way I am not saying buy the book, I just wanted to let you know I have it and what it is about since I read it.

I would just like to say that Mick Wall has written some good articles on various bands and artists. A while back, Classic Rock magazine put out a special, which consisted of stories done by Mick Wall and photos by Ross Halfin. There were some good stories in there. An interview with Axl was even one of the stories. He didn't write the Axl bio based purely on what he'd heard. He's spoken to him and interviewed him various times.

And reading the Axl bio, I genuinely can't see anything in there that suggests an agenda against Axl or GNR. There are couple of digs, mostly about the wait for CD etc., but nothing that would make me angry if I were Axl...

He may not have spoken to members of GNR for a while, but at least he has done in the past...

I strongly disagree. That book was nothing but bashing.

TBH, it's been a while since I read it, I just didn't remember reading things and thinking "That's wrong, he shouldn't have said that."
