2007 AND 2011 HTGTH Fantasy Football Champ!

Wait until 2012 when the game is in Indianapolis, Indiana.  That would be epic!

And the most plausible suggestion floated so far.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2012 Super Bowl would be the day before Axl's 50th birthday.  Pretty cool birthday present.

the set would consist mainly of old guns songs and it wouldn't be fair to the band to trot them out to the SB just to play the old lineups songs

Guns N' Roses can play any Guns N' Roses song they wish.   It is perfectly fair, and perfectly acceptable.

Another poll, same mag:

In honor of that big Def Leppard and Poison tour that?s coming to your town this summer, this weekend?s Rock List was dedicated to 1980s Hard Rock Songs. We counted the votes, and the song that most made our readers want to apply copious amount of hairspray was Ozzy Osbourne?s tribute to deranged transportation, ?Crazy Train.? Where did songs by Metallica, Ratt and the Dead Kennedys land? Check out the readers? list below:

1. Ozzy Osbourne ? ?Crazy Train?
2. Guns n? Roses ? ?Paradise City?
3. Metallica ? ?One?
4. The Replacements ? ?Bastards of Young?
5. Cinderella ? ?Shake Me?
6. Van Halen ? ?Hot For Teacher?
7. Living Colour ? ?Cult of Personality?
8. Motley Crue ? ?Too Young to Fall in Love?
9. AC/DC ? ?Back In Black?
10. Skid Row ? ?Youth Gone Wild?
11. Ratt ? ?Round & Round?
12. Dead Kennedys ? ?Holiday in Cambodia?
13. Judas Priest ? ?Breaking the Law?
14. Faith No More ? ?We Care A Lot?
15. Joan Jett ? ?I Love Rock N? Roll?

They could clear Axl to open the Halftime show with "Do you know where the Fuck you are ?!!" Theres a 7 second delay that could bleep Fuck out. Beyond it there isn't much of a problem and it would be a very good return in a way. Since there is 3-4 songs allowed....

Open with "Welcome to the Jungle"

then go into "Better"

and end with "November Rain" Complete with confetti dropping and all...

Ax doesn't even have to do the "Do you know where the fuck you are?!?!".

I'd compare this to the 2002 VMA's... except a longer set.
