Guns N' Roses
'Mud, Sweat & Curfews'
Reading Festival 2010
Audience recording - 2 DVD - Recorded by Fieldsy

Video: MPEG2 Video 720x576 (16:9) 25.00fps 9200Kbps
Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz stereo 224Kbps

I have been doing some thinking over the past few weeks.  The GNR Bootleg scene has become stale.  There is a lack of community, a lack of releases and a lack of new material.  This led me to thinking about what I had in terms of unreleased GNR bootlegs. Some of you that know me, will know that in the past I have released all of my audio recordings for free, as soon as I had recorded them.  That to me was always the way I wanted things to be - to share a recording of a gig that people may of experienced or didnt have the opportunity but was free to the fans and GNR community.  In 2010 I decided to try and tape my first GNR gig - little did I know it would become fairly infamous due to the issues between Guns and the promoter(s).  However, I decided that for once I would keep this for trade only - not to hoard but to trade.  I got a few offers that sounded good and gave me an insight into the amount of GNR DVD's that were not 'out' in the community.  Personal things took over - a first baby, a new job etc and I havent had the time to seek trades and this has led me to where I am now...... Any other band community is exactly that - a community.  A place where people release shows to the fans for their enjoyment.  Look at the U2 community - numerous shows, with numerous multi cams.  GNR are just not like that - it is borne with fighting and cliques.  Yes it was difficult to film Reading, yes it was expensive and yes at times I probably didnt fully watch the show - but it is what it is.  At times it is shaky - the price you pay for filming standing up, with 70,000 people pushing you around.  But it is a video of the show.  I hope you enjoy it and I hope it is that start of a few new shows that this COMMUNITY can share.
