hated that version.  Have yet to hear any GnR song covered by a female vocalist that I do like tbh.  For example much as I like Courtney - Hole's PC cover was not good.  Something less obvious might work, in the vein of Tori Amos covering Smells like Teen Spirit, maybe.  maybe not.

I thought Hole's cover of Paradise City was a joke, wasn't it?  Doesn't she hate Axl/GNR?

I personally can't stand anyone covering a GN'R song, especially if the person tries to change it into a completely different rhythm and tempo/style. On a positive contrast to that, I fuckin LOVE the newly recorded SCOM which appears in this film, and that instrumental posted earlier in the thread is just heaven. Now that is a way to smash a GN'R song, by not changing it too much, and completely making it your own, as did the GN'R of 1999 did do, they absolutely owned it.  Grin

Robin's solo is so powerfull, and full of feeling. I would kill to hear all of this song, with all of the interludes, intro and full solo as well... love
