I don't buy Axl saying it's not about Slash. Just like Slash can't tell me "Take it Away" isn't about Axl. Although he admitted it was anyway.
I honestly believe him. He had several issues with those high shots from the record company who thought they knew better.

And I think that's Fortus doing the solo on Sorry TBH. But it's hard to tell because he does play very similar to Slash. I'm going by the cleaner, more bluesy tone mostly.
I bet it's Slash. Its clearly his phrases. And maybe Richard would play more true to the original. I admit I've been wrong before, tho.
I agree, sounds like Slash.

Is the expectation that Steven is around for the remainder of the NA tour? I'm hoping until Boston at least, more stoked for the opportunity than expected for sure.

It certainly seems like they've got a some sort of contract for longer time but who knows?

I guess we have to wait and see. Sports teams use try outs, maybe Steven was on one but he's proven himself for the time being.

Perhaps the Steven appearances are fitting in with other commitments- rehab possibly? If he's on all the dates it seems strange he would miss the first few if not.

I've always tought "Sorry" was about Slash, Fans, Industry...

...the universe that has wronged him on the regular.

So obviously everyone knows Steven has made back to back shows in Cincy and Nashville. I heard he is doing a book signing in Pittsburgh tonight also. I am curious what everyone's speculation is for the rest of the tour? I will be there Thursday in Philly. Would love to see him, even if for two songs as I never caught the original lineup back in their hayday. I know its a guess, but just curious what everyone's gut feling is on it?

I think he will perform most nights... Hoping he gets to play different Apetite songs as we move along.

Really hope he plays different songs also and mixes it up but it seems so far I get the feeling they so don't want to f*** this tour up as we see with every show almost the exact same setlist and starting right ontime every show and not only zero rants virtually zero communication on stage.

Is that true that there is zero communication? That's not the feeling I get from reviews.

How many artists actually mix things up every night?

We're getting "double talking jive", Coma..oh and Slash, Duff and Steven.

This is not true.
They do communicate on stage, they're smiling and joking with each other and Axl is frequently singing and dancing by Slash's and Duff's side. People who expect rants and those crazy things they used to do on stage, just a quick reminder: they're not in their 20s anymore, they're sober, this is not the nineties.
We already had many demonstrations that everything is fine between them (Axl and Slash even said so), probably better than it ever was. I won't bother to look for and link videos here, but just because I just posted this on another thread, here is Axl and Slash leaving stage in Nashville: https://www.instagram.com/p/BHvE_lRjPny/

Yes, I would love to see them playing other songs, but just because they have so many great songs and I, like everyone else, have my favorites, but they can't please everyone. Besides, we still have many shows ahead. Just chill out.

I'd say we'll see more of Adler throughout the tour. I'd love to see more of him and I think they will give him a few different songs to play. As he is a guest and not currently an official Guns n Roses employee it's probably not appropriate to have him do more than 2 songs but I would love to see him closing with Paradise City. The thing is he just looks and sounds perfect with the band. Seeing them together I feel like I'm watching a proper Guns n Roses show. I enjoyed the Chin Dem era but not as much as I'm enjoying this. I never thought I'd see this happening, it's the happy ending I hoped for. Izzy will be the next surprise but I don't know when that will happen

Looks like he could have the Mick Taylor spot.

On their 50th anniversary tour, the Rolling Stones brought out former guitarist Mick Taylor (1969-1975) to play on 'Midnight Rambler' each night.
