I don't think anything happened with it other than the filming and some story boarding. I don't think anybody even attempted to edit it or put it together. Probably a good thing. If they had put it out in 1994 I don't think it would have gone over well.

I always wondered that.  How would it have been presented?

Backstage didn't sound like happy times, that tour.

I remember Gilby joking about the documentary comparing it to Madonnas "Truth or Dare", then recanting with a laugh that he hopes it's not like Madonnas "Truth or Dare"..
