I went to all those shows they kicked ass.  I was just wondering if any of you went to all three.  They were great because of the smaller venues.  One of my favorite parts was the 29th show at the hard rock.  Right before they started they started showing video clips of a soldier running through the jungle with tanks and shit after him.   And started welcome to the jungle.  That was the biggest rush man.

Yeah I was at those shows and they certainly did kick major ass! But I also remember what Axl said at the House of Blues show. The way he talked about the new album as if it were a good possibility it would be released that year.
Then at the Hard Rock show he claimed C. D. would come out and it would be
"out of the ballpark"

We all know Dizzy says it isn't Axl's fault, and most believe Axl is the holdup.
Regardless, THREE AND A HALF FUCKING YEARS?

Now I just get the feeling that Axl is sitting there telling people "let's just let this Velvet Revolver thing pass us by and then we'll drop our album summer '05"

And I don't buythis theory of Axl being against the G.H. album. I watched the Chicago and NY 2002 shows and he looked happy just to sing the old stuff.

Sorry to change the subject of your original post.

Everyone was saying he was fat and then when I saw him wearing that coat or whatever he was wearing with no shirt under.  Shit he had a six pack.  He was ripped.  Plus I think silkworms kicks ass live.  You have to be there to feel the new music.  One word- AWESOME.  Plus another things that makes the gnr concerts so grrrreeat are the fans I meet at those concerts.   You fuckin gunner fans at those shows are kick ass.

I was at the 29th show with my DAD.  He's been to several concerts throughout his life, and he said this was the BEST one by far and GN'R isn't his favorite band like mine obviously.  Axl threw a fit and was sporting a six pack like no other. Trust me he was cut up at this show.  I waited in line for six hours and got a front row seat in front of Finck who kept giving me fives after songs.  Silk Worms did rock out that song was one of the best LIVE.

Silkworms did rock didn't it.  The girl I was with got sick so at the end of the show we went to the back near the bar and when SI:KWORMS was played when I was sitting back their people and people near the bar area were what is this in a good way, they loved it.  I just can't explain it you have to be there.

Best show I'll probably ever witness.  Everything was in that show even Axl putting a KFC bucket on his head.  The more I think about it, the more I remember about it.  The six hour wait in line was worth it.  Axl rocked out that night, ranted, got pissed, got pissed some more and played all the great tracks with great new epics to follow.

Your Dad is cool dude. It was the best concert I ever saw. Axl did have the 6 pack. That is what's so funny about people calling him fat and shit. I was on Fincks side, he made me a fan that night. I was so pumped after that, and then nothing ever came of it. No CD anyway.

I was pumped all night after that show, it was awesome.

You sound like the guy who was interviewed in that short documentary "Have You Seen Axl Rose?"  Towards the end of the film, this guy who went to the Dec.29th show at the Hard Rock talks about that show and mentioned the exact same thing about Axl's open jacket and his six pack.  You can check it out at www.haveyouseenaxlrose.com. Make sure you have your volume turned up... kick ass soundtrack!
