Just a quick question here...is it just me, or does anyone else have a feeling Izzy's book is going to hit the shelves around the time Chinese Democracy comes out???  Yes, it would be smart marketing to capitalize on the coinciding GNR marketing blitz...but to me, it seems kind of shitty.  Izzy obviously wants no part of GNR, but wouldn't mind making a few extra bucks "sucking off GNR's life force and their energy... just to fulfill his fuckin' parasitic needs..."  

I sure hope that's not the case.  What do y'all think?

Izzy Stradlin can exploit GunsNRoses as much as wants... he fuckN created that band.  The cool thing about him is that he never has.   I know theres a few guys out there touring and making money off of songs that Izzy wrote...  Izzy hasnt even played those songs himself in years.  So whos using who? Trying to make a buck?

I think thats a pretty stupid theory.

Izzy doesnt need the money.
Izzy has never looked for contraversy towards Axl publically.
Izzy is defintely not an attention seeker.

I think it may be a good opportunity for Iz to release his own demons and to talk about his own life path, good and bad. He is probably a thousand times more private than any gunners, axl included. We know so little about him. He may also talk of his love for axl, who was his best friend for years. And then, he may not. Who knows ?

I am very curious about it. I think it's an amazing idea.

I know i'll buy it as soon as it comes out...
