You guys are mistaking chemistry for musicianship.  Sure, Steven and the band had chemistry, but Steven is not a good drummer.

Steve is by no means a phenomenal drummer... but he IS a GREAT drummer.  His timing and fluidity is STILL fucking awesome.  Go and see him play.  You will change your mind.  Or is your head to far stuck up Axl's ass to notice anyone other than the latest GnR musicians?  Next weekm it will be someone else if Brain quits.

to all you douche bags saying that Adler sucked...well you need to shut the fuck up or put up coz i am a drummer and ive been drumming for a long time and all i do is drum and hang out with drummers, and Steve Adler on Appetite for Destruction, and on Live Like A Suicide is fucking amazing. Listen to It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Nightrain, Reckless Life, and Mama Kin and try to say he is bad. He is a fucking kick ass drummer with the perfect feel. He knows when and when not to play and what and what not to play on the drum kit. He is an A+ drummer and those who put him down can fuck off!

A : He is back in the band. He was definitely out of the band. He wasn?t necessarily fired, we worked with Adam Maples, we worked with Martin Chambers, and Steven did the Guns N? Roses thing and got his shit together. And it worked, and he did it, and he plays the songs better than any of ?em, just bad-assed, and he?s GNR. And so if he doesn?t blow it, we?re going to try the album with him, and the tour.

Maybe CD is taking so long because AXL is tying to convert Brain into Steven (regarding drumming feel with the songs)
