I personally don't understand someone purchasing a ticket to a concert only to treat the band with disrespect.  That goes for all the crap that audiences do, throwing stuff onstage... chant things like "go home buckethead" or something else disrespectful, or bring signs like "where's slash?"

I feel that it is equally disrespectful to go to a Velvet Revolver show and chant "Axl" or "Guns n Roses" or something like that (I understand that some of this has happened on their tour also).

It seems like such a waste of cash to me.  If you aren't going to a show to enjoy yourself and the music being played by the musicians playing the music, why go?  Why be an asshole?  That is why you've gotta love it when Axl throws the assholes out of the show!  They deserve it.  You shouldn't go to a concert only to cause problems.

It would take an asshole to mock the band he paid to see. Don`t you go to a show because you are interested in seeing the performance? Some people are just plain stupid.

the tour was a mistake... if BH went out after CD came out there would be a different view of him and he would be the first real guitar hero type player we've seen since Slash.  It was all timing and it would have worked if CD was out.  THe VMAs would have looked better.  Everything.  PLus... by the time MSG came there was so much bad press about half empty arenas.  If they had to do something  they shold have played only large citys that would have been sold out.  I just think Buckethead could have been huge in GnR.  Now.... I would really rather not hear him on CD at all.  Let Robin and Richard have all the spotlight.

I can't imagine anyone paying good money for tickets just to rag on someone, I think because it's a different band and it has the gnr name some people get drunk and let their feelings out.. I don't think it's right, but booze can brring out the truth..

I had my own mixed feelings and always will, but I got drunk and loved the msg show..

As I mentioned before I think buckethead is amazing, I just don't like his concert style, toys, nun chuck ninja, and things like star wars on the guitar.. I found it boring.. The crowd was yelling and singing to every  song, it was all good in that way.. The crowd alos roared in a good way during his solo..

No, but he i have become a big fan of buckehead after seeing him in gnr, in gnr he was the second range star to me
but richard, tommy, brain, chris etc are really contributing amazingly to the whole gnr package
Richard is a great leadplayer too

Finck plays on the last NIN live CD. No studio recordings.

Fortus plays on some N'Sync records, I think, and maybe with Enrique Iglesias, too. He'd been playing in Love Spit Love, too, you can find their website here:  http://www.maverickrc.com/lovespitlove/

boos to bawl players out n buck them up would be reasonable. :Hey, Steady on! you could do better, show us ya best, kinda.
But for certain reason there are assholes who try to boo them off no matter how they play. Rabid hate activists, Yeah, they?re in the minority but remarkable n persistent yobbos.

For that, the reason for Buckethead departure had to be "Guns' inability to complete an album or tour" probably?
