'This I Love' is a good contender, if you're heart broken.  Cry

When I was little I heard a version of Delibes' Flower Duet that made me weep.  But then, I'm a sucker for a soprano.

Since then I can't for the life of me think of the name of the damned song that last made me cry.

Star Spangled Banner...not always, but a fly-by usually seals the deal...it's a pride thing.

Taps...for obvious reasons.

Taps... anyone that's served understands

Walkin' With Sorrow -- Hank III

Two Doors Down -- Dwight Yoakam

Someday Never Comes -- CCR

Redemption Song -- Robert Nesta Marley the live version from the box set.. last song he ever performed. I'm a huge fan, have him tatted on me and know one of his sons. His music means the world to me and this version.. lets just say I feel that when Bob was singing the world was getting better, but this one just hurts.

I Could've Lied -- RHCP... Frusciante basically plays pain on the guitar. Those solos are so simple but so powerful

I would not say that any song has made me cry but the memories associated with the song have.  At my cousin's funeral Clapton's Tears in Heavan struck a nerve and when I learned that my Great Aunt died Counting Crows' Long december came on the radio and I cried.

Patience gets to me sometimes when the mood is right, and the memories of yesterday have multiplied...

Has anyone heard Coldplay's "The Scientist"?

You wanna talk about a sad song, I caught that song in a movie last night having not heard it in months, and I just lost it...

Coldplay have never appealed to me, but there's definately something in that song that tugs you're aching heart... Embarrassed

yeah "the scientist" will always bring tears to my eyes if i dont restrain myself.

the lyrics can be absolutely mesmerizing if one can relate to them and Chris Martin (and i know he is hated by many around here) has a fucking amazing voice! drool
