How would the new members like Brain, Richard, Tommy etc. profit from sales of the album when it released?

Were they paid for their studio time and input and from then on they are paid for their live appearances?

Or does their creative input mean they'll get a % of the ongoing sales profits? I'm guessing they must get some sort of ongoing royalties for their parts!

Just curious. I guess it all depends on what contracts Axl has them on.

Id say more likely then not they will get a % of the sales of the cd's and publishing of the album.

Yeah I think that depends on the contracts and songwriting credits and all, I think no one can say until the album is out and when we know who did what on it.

I don't think they are on large retainers, they were probably paid a healthy amount for recording (everyone's gotta eat), and promised some royalties...even a small % could yield a lot of money for them...the other thing is reputation...assuming GNR does take off, it would only do good things for their chances of succeeding in solo projects or getting more work in the future

8 men wrote the music.
6~7% of the whole writing per each?
