I think Axl actually planned his comback on 1/1/01, because of the date.  I mean who could forget a date like that, and we all know how crazy Axl is.

Your right about Axl not planning the 1/1/01 show, I forgot about that.  But he DID Plan the 12/29 and 12/31/01 shows.  He said so himself at the concert.  Someone please find this DVD I've been dieing to have it.

I think we've all read fan reviews talking about people taping or filming those shows. I wonder what happened to those...they must exist somewhere. Maybe the tapers don't want those to surface.

In Pukkelpop I remember seeing at least two guys filming the show with a DV camcorder (with the LCD screen open on the side, it was not very discreete...lol). I noticed they filmed the entire concert, but one of them could be the 50 min. version we know...I don't think the other one is the screenshot version because none of those guys was filming the screen. Unfortunately I couldn't catch them at the end of the show, because of the crowd...
I wonder where are those recordings. I'm pretty sure it's the same situation for LV 12/2001.

sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, just curious if something happened in this case. there has to be complete Pukkelpop recording as videos of Nightrain and My Michelle exist besides of the regular DVD ending after Rhiad.

I forgot I even posted this topic.  I keep hearing people are offering the Vegas DVD's for new songs.  If this is true LET the DVD out there, we all want the Vegas shows so give it up, SHIT!

someone HAS video from Vegas 01, but it's some footage of the band leaving the airport or what, it's even without Axl so it's not of much value

I hear this video contains footage of Buckethead unmasked.  I wouldn't want that to be out there, but would like to have it for myself.

I really wish there were a 12-29 audio or video boot, but once again it is but another rumor more likely myth than reality. Great show btw. I loved Silkworms.

Or 06-06-06!!!!  CD Starts then.  Anyhow if I remember correctly didn't someone claim to have one of the show (12/29) I think....and wanted so much money before he would release it?  Then he dissappeared and was never heard from again.
