The idea behind this thread has been done before, but it is still relevant. The  fact is, being a "rock star" is one of the hardest jobs there is. Sure, you get paid well, but to play the same songs over and over, night after night, and to do it with enthusiasm to give each audience the best show is really really difficult. Some days you feel "on" and can deliver a great show, and some days you just don't feel like performing; you are mentally and/or physically drained. I know: I do "public" stuff for a living, although I am not a musician. To me, it is like playing baseball, the physical part is secondary to the mental, it is just a grind to do the same thing every night or every other night.
So it is  good that Axl's band is having a good time and kidding around, and that Axl is in a good mood. Hopefully, that will continue and he will make it through the European and then American legs  of the tour.

No wonder they'd be bored - they play ''new'' songs that are 5 years old and the same set list every week - hell, every single show is identical - ffs guys do something different - play an acoustic set, only play covers, play different instruments, whatever -  but if i have to see the same god damn set list in the same order with the same intros and solo's i think i'll scream
Don't go to the shows! Now wasn't that easy?

I don't know dude,

Seeing and getting paid well to see places in the world you'd never otherwise go, staying at top hotels, flying first class, having all your buddy's with you every night partying with no worry about cost, basically starting a new band and getting it off the ground, having people everywhere you go who would cut off their arm just to shake your hand and talk to you for two second....

Lets face it these guys aren't driving 12 hours in a shitty cramped van that smells like ass, to sleep in hostels, and eat corn dogs...

I think they probably love... especially axl who has barely left his house in 10 years. Banging new chicks in every fucking country, snorting the best coke, getting reaquainted with his wicked band, and proving to everyone he still fucking rocks.... I think its probably a lot of fun
