I'm a llama!

« on: July 04, 2006, 12:03:23 PM »

I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised. When All those dates were announced, I had doubts that he would really make it. June basically came and went with no MAJOR problems. So, Are they still sticking to the plan? By the way, what is the plan? Hopefully it goes this way: Make it through July dates, Please play TWAT. Come back home, Release a single, announce album drop date, then tour usa, supporting the album. I think anything else would be a let down. I have heard and seen the old songs played already, No need to re-live it again and again.  As I sit here writing this, I am listening to the leaks, I just cant figure out why axl would just sit on this stuff. This is just a sampling of what is going to be on CD, by the sounds if it, it is going to be good. I feel for him, because no matter how good the new material is, people are always tough on him. (Fuck those poeple), But as an outsider looking in, He is already embedded as one of the best frontman of all time, he has nothing left to prove, and least to his fans. Heres to a succesful July, and hopefully to a great second half of the year, to Axl, The band, and all of Loyal fans.

I'm hoping we hear CITR when they hit the UK, with guest appearances by Brian May.  He's already stated he was supposed to play with them at Hammersmith (I believe).  I'd expect that'd be a song he'd play with them since he did contribute to it.

Yeah, this thread more or less sums up what I think.  I was also quite sceptical about the tour, but all seems to be going well - you know Axl's back when he's been in the papers for two fights in one tour hihi

Still no news on Chinese Democracy. Axl's North American tour will go tits up if the album doesn't come out in September.

August, I think, will be the month where all of the nagging questions in the back of our minds, regarding the album's release and future touring plans will finally be answered...

« Reply #13 on: July 05, 2006, 10:09:31 AM »

i hate to say it ...  nervous but all signs (timetablewise i'd say) point to a presentation of the first single at the VMA's...

The european leg of the tour ends in august , right?
The band takes some rest...releases the single and announces the release date of cd...VMA'a and US-Tour

I wouldn't be suprised if Axl revealed something during the final shows, or most definately the July 30th show in London, as to what the bands plans are after a well deserved rest.. Wink
