How about some Northwest love?

They say Axl knows what's on the boards, so I thought I'd throw this out there. As the new shows begin popping up, I've noticed at least one region that has not shown up yet on the radar: The Pacific Northwest. Granted, I'm extra sensitive to this since it's where I'm currently at, but how about it, 'Powers That Be'? Maybe a show in Portland this fall? The audience is most certainly there for it!

Looks like they're still announcing shows on the East Coast.

Yeah, I hear that! That'd be so awesome if they came to Portland, but they probably won't, since they people here listen to crap music. Hopefully they'll at least go back to Tacoma or somehwere in the Northwest vincinity.

Hey, I'm from Portland. Thats what i'm talking about! Of course they did come through the northwest on there last failed US tour. They are probably making sure they cover all the other places that they missed first. I'd imagine that we would see them towards the end, which is fine by me, because I want the damn cd out before the next time I see GNR.

If they roll through Seattle this time around I can promise they'll sell at least 4 tickets.
C'mon Axl, if Kenny Chesney can sell out Qwest here you can too.

From Portland here too. I thought I was the only one! Just wanna stick up for me and my fellow music lovers and say that Portland is a big live music town and most of the music fans up here are very music savvy. I've been to tons of great shows here and the audiences are also appreciative of good music. If the music comes from an honest place people latch on and will support it. BTW the Reno show is only 1.5 hours away by plane. I'll be there and there's still good seats left!

Yeah no kidding. I missed them when they came to Seattle so I'd like them to stop by again and make up for it. Of course Duff is from here so Axl might have some animosity towards this region...

Yeah, they're gonna keep hitting the east coast before they go anywhere else.

Yeah, that'd be awesome if CD is out before they come back to the Pacific NW! They'll probably play more new songs in their sets by that time. Hopefully they'll announce a show date within the next couple of weeks.

Buckethead was from Florida and Axl's going there. I think the fans care more about the old band vs new band feuds than Axl does. Unless Axl develops an allergy to money, he'll be out there eventually.

I just read a mention, in a Las Vegas review from a board member, that there'd be a Seattle show in December....
Now, I think it would make sense to be in the North West around that time since they're gonna be on the East Coast in early November....

I hope Ricker makes the announcement on KISW. Hopefully they play Key Arena this time instead of that shithole Tacoma Dome. Any word if Guns will be playing Vancouver?
