If you want an idea of what the site may look like, the company doing it is ground(ctrl) - www.groundctrl.com

They've done sites for Deftones, Jane's Addiction, Korn, and Alice Cooper (among artists I actually like lol) and a lot of others.

If I recall GN'R's current management handle Korn so I'm guessing they've used these guys before.

Really hope we get something cool like the Deftones site where fans can upload their photos from live gigs to the fan galleries.

A legendary band like Guns deserve an epic website, I just hope we finally get something to be proud of. The site as it is, is very dated and hardly gets updated... I really feel GN'R deserve much better.  Smiley

I'd love it if all the past shows had sound board audio available. They'd make a KILLING off of the forums alone, which I'd be totally ok with!

I'm surprised they are even bothering-with facebook and twitter, it's easier for most bands to post there, it goes directly to the people who follow it rather than having to search them out-maybe a merchandise shop is the only thing.

I'm pretty sure his point was, he's surprised they're even bothering with a new website when they can reach fans effectively through social media.
