More than meets the eye

Was this album done before or after his sacking from GNR? I know it was done in 1994, the year he left the group...

I got the album today and the entire GNR cast turn up at various parts, if it was done after his firing it must have been quite a good natured parting of ways for them to feature on the album or for him to want them to appear....

Yeah it was recorded while he was still in gnr.  Just like Duff's solo album, gilby worked on it in various studios whenever he got a free chance.

Yes, I know, but there is a diferance.
That album was realesed  the same year Gilby was fiered. If Gilby would have been fierd (for example) in January, he wouldn?t  have  put Axl on the record in August.
That?s why he at least recorded it when he was still on guns.I dont think he had a very good relationship with axl two months after being fiered.
But after 6 or 7  years they might have been able to forgive one to each other.
But I remember reading and article were he says:
"People dont belive me, but I dont have a bad relationship with Axl.We get on well when we see each other, one time every 6 years!!"
