Did anyone else catch this bit on MTV?  I just heard something about a judge's decision on the album as well as GN'R's tour going to get underway.  I was just walking downstairs when I heard this.  A tour getting underway I haven't heard anything but the RIR4 May 30th date.  Hopefully there is some truth to this!

I really wonder if Axl still can tour for a long time period. look at the last american tour, in 1 month, 2 riots...
In life, there is what you want to do and what you can do. can Axl do a long world tour today in 2004 without turning it into a failure after some months?
beeing late, cancellations, riots... it's part of Axl don't you think?
as much as we love the guy, there will always be a doubt for a long tour without shits...well for me. what do you think? the last American tour hurt his credibility to tour for a long time don't you think?

I saw it.

They mentioned the failed attempt to stop the GH's, that's it.

NOTHING about a tour.

Wow... it looks as though I should just keep on hitting refresh every few moments today while on Here Today Smiley  This is where the fun is at...

If anyone knows what this news annoucenment of sorts was, please let us know... yeah, I don't have MTV, so there is little I can add to this conversation, if at all.

Okay, I will stop babbling now Smiley

I think Axl used that tour to get his voice into a certain condition for finishing the vocals on certain songs on the album.  He had to regain the rock edge, and once he did, he bailed.  Sure, there were other factors involved, but that was a biggie.

You sure about that, I think they DID mention something about RIO/tour.  I'm not trying to report false statements here it's just what I heard as I was scanning through.  Could it be my imagination playing tricks on me because it's what I want to hear. NO. I don't think so, I don't make things up just posting what I saw.

And this knowledge manifests itself when he goes around saying "Duh, it'll be out this year for sure ... oh, what I've said that for the last 5 years ... well, damn ..." ??

Well, if Lisa Reed knows what's going on, don't you think that Dizzy would too?
