Ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Izzy Stradlin has invited his former
bandmate, drummer Steven Adler, to collaborate on some new music. The
plan is to record two songs, possibly to be included on Izzy's next
release, according to a posting on The Official Steven Adler Fan
Site. No further information is available at this time.

In other news, ADLER'S APPETITE ? Adler's collaboration with RATT/ex-
LOVE/HATE singer Jizzy Pearl, ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT guitarist Keri
Kelli, FASTER PUSSYCAT guitarist Brent Muscat, and ex-VINCE NEIL/RATT
bassist Robbie Crane ? have lined up the following dates during the
coming weeks:

Mar. 31 - Chicago, IL @ Joe's on Weed St.
Apr. 01 - Chicago, IL @ Joe's on Weed St.

Sounds cool..but Izzy hasn't even managed to get 'Like a dog' out yet, so i'd imagine we will have some time till we hear these tracks....

All Izzy and Steven need is a bassist and they can be Velvet Revolver mark 2.....which one would be the 'true' Guns N Roses.......

And then I can die in peace  Grin

I do admire Izzy for keeping in touch with the Gunners, making records, just being a regular person who plays great rock n' roll.

Izzy and Steven have lived through more than most of us have!  They could make some great music together  beer

Oh you know, people that just want to have some fun and collaborate on a couple songs and not make an album. There, that wasn't too hard.

More news!!  Cheesy
March 20th -  Steven returned from LA with a CD-R featuring two songs of his collaboration with Izzy! One new original song, and a cover of the classic oldie, ?Do you Love Me??. Izzy?s friend JT flew in from Texas. He plays bass on the tracks and he also engineered the session. Izzy took the lead vocal duty and Steven contributed backing vocals. The songs were recorded at Izzy?s home on his digital 8 track. They did about five takes of each song, and Steven was surprised when JT complimented him by saying, ?Dude, you are an amazing drummer!? Steven says the recording sounds "fucking great!" and would like to send the tracks to some radio stations, most likely those in Europe.  Also, the three of them plan to return in April to record five more songs!

Looks like this little thing between Steven and Izzy could get more permanent, good to see that Steven wants to push them out to radio stations in Europe as well maybe Izzy could get his first taste of commercial success since his GN'R days

The good news keeps coming.  It's great that Steven and Izzy are getting along so well and working together.  I especially feel good for Steven since he seems to have been trying the hardest to reconcile with his former GNR bandmates, despite everything they went through.  Glad to see that they're treating him like a brother again.   Cool

This is awesome news.  5 more songs!  This is easily the best GN'R related news this year.

It's good to see at least one of his former bandmates recognizes what a kick ass drummer he was.

Rock N' Roll.  Cool

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference.  His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked. ~ Izzy Stradlin
