actualy, Gilby didnt get fired. axl just didnt renew the contract...
same for navarro, freeze and paul.. either that or they quit...

axl dont really fire that many people... you making him look bad(er than he is)

he was not fired.... the above poster needs to read Axl's press release irt Pauls status with the band..  I swear the IQ around here drops weekly..

same with Freese and Navarro... what about brian May was he fired also??  dumb......

are you sure for navaroo? I remember I read somewhere he was fired. maybe the magazine was wrong I don't know. For freeze, I do think he was fired.

Josh wasn't fired, he left of his own accord, he was just doing some work for Axl he was never really part of the band

Dave Navarro and Gary Sunshine were never hired by Axl either, they were just helping out a friend.

I think Gilby was fired - at the very least he seemed to think he was + he had been fired many times before his '94 departure according to the man himself, but each time they had made it up.

Wasnt Gilby fired for bagging Axl out in an interview? I actually have totally forgotten the Gilby departure part of GNRs history. From memory, I think this is just what the media reported.

They must have left on good terms.. if the two of them can bump into each other at Gilbys show.. have a beer and do some songs together.
