i use to loathe this song i didnt like it but today i was drivin and i turned it up full of blast and i must concur now, this song kicks fuckin ass, so does sympathy for the devil

i still like down on the farm better but ive been wrong guys my apologies to everyone im converted i actually do like this song now

whats some other GNR songs that u hated when u first heard but now like, this thread has been done before but its been awhile

explain how long it took to appreciate it etc

Earlier I couldn't see why you people liked Nightrain so much..

I got and listened to it again sometimes but still I didn't like it.

But when one of my friends bought AFD he came to me one day:

"That tune Nightrain is a real cracker"

He always put it on at partys and I still said: "C'mon, play Jungle or Paradise"

Time went by and now Nightrain is a top 10 GN'R song for me..

I agree the song has potential and it would be interesting to hear it, I liked the main tune to it, but not the slower quieter bits the song went to.

I hated Silkworms but after I saw the Rock In Rio 3 performance of it a couple of months ago, its easily become one of my favorite tracks. The guitars and everything about it just rock.

I used to always skip over Breakdown, but now I absolutely love it and the lyrics and guitars and everything about it.

Believe it or not im getting a little tired of Sweet Child O' Mine. Its always been my favorite GnR track but listening to it 10 times a day for a couple of years sorta ruins its beauty.

I dont think theres a gnr song i dont like. old and new.

As for silk worms, i have been lsitening to that so much lately. I love it. The vegas version is so much better than rio. The intro to vegas is fukin awesome. You hear all the effects. Plus axls voice has a certain "bounce" to it. Its fukin great. Truly an underated song. Its not a classic by no means but its def a cool lil rocker. The studio will prob be awesome.

Time went by and Pretty Tied Up became one of my favorite songs.  I didnt like it at first b/c I didnt understand what it was about  (kool ranch dressing!).

I didnt like My Michelle when I first heard it.  Now I do.

i used to think you aint the first was okay but now i love it! it's such a good song. makes me really appreciate izzy. i love the garden but i will never like alice cooper's part. dont know why.. i just dont like him singing that part. get in the ring used to be cool but it seems so infintile now.  songs that immediately grew on me were *aside from the obvious hit singles* : locomotive, look at your game girl, dont damn me, rocket.

I almost like every songs with gnr.
With the exeption of afd version of your'e crazy\ bad apples and it's only down on the farm., since i don't, ain't it fun and "i don't care" that is good on tsi.
I never'd enjoyed the count to eight on perfect either.

Oh my god turned out good afterwords\ so did all the new ones\ the weakest to me is chinese.

The rest of gnr stuff is musical mayhem.
