Hello again!
Just wanted ta tell you guys if you're interested that GNR got No.1 on MTV2.
The show was called "Top 69 Mightiest Rifts Ever"
Thanks to Slash and the boys SCOM {Sweet Child O Mine!} made number one beating the likes of Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Queens Of The Stone Age etc.
Glad To Know That The Gunner Boys Have Still Got It!  yes

Does anyone know who were in the show- I only seen bits of it!  Roll Eyes

Peace Out!

Hey, sweet!

Might be worth checking out the MTV2 website in a couple of days to see the full list...

Always great to see Guns come out on top.  beer

I saw this was on but didn't see it when it got to no.1.   Although GnR also got number 30 with Paradise City as-well.

i think this shows how great of a TEAM axl and slash truly were. sure slash didn't want to do scom, but he DID create it. he created tons of amazing shit. axl was great at utilizing the best of his work. they brought out the best in each other.

they were on of the greatest teams of all time. right up there with mick and keith. coincidentally, keith richards didn't want to do satisfaction, which contains what many consider the greatest guitar riff of all time.

It's not. I read somewhere recently that sweet child o' mine was voted the greatest riff of all time.

Slash said he hated SCOM.

He didnt like any of the softer songs, dont know why, most of them were big hits! I guess Slash wanted to do WTTJ to death.

Damn, just think about what Axl could get out of a talent like Bucket.  He could definetely harness that talent and turn in into greatness.  This is why I still believe.     smoking
