Anti-GNR Morons

I'm personally getting extremely sick of people persecuting Guns N' Roses.

Even the old line-up is being ridiculed. People rubbed their hands with glee at GN'R's cancellation of RIR.

You get moronic comments like this one:

"dont get me wrong GnR are great! but they havent come with a song as magical as everlong"

or this one:

"It's all becasue Axl Rose killed Kurt Cobain and now he's all emotionally scarred, thus he will fail to produce a new album and his world is falling apart around him abd he's losing grip."

or this one!

"I think the drugs have rotted Axel's brain."

The dominance of boring drivel and dirge rock is, however, a clear sign that many of these people don't have a clue.

I don't like posting rants, so has anybody else heard ludicrous criticisms of the band? One of my friends once told me 'Slash is a crap guitarist'...

An active Guns N Roses, dont get me wrong a lot of bands dont speak to fans, but on the other hand, a lot do, i guess im dreaming of the latter.

Why?
We have had a letter from Axl stating that he is apologetic to all his legions of fans for cancelling Rock in Rio and that the departure of Buckethead may bring some more magic to the band???

What sort of magic? hopefully the magic or the suprise might mean they do something, hell Axl said that the album will be released in 2 months...uve gotta believe him, as Axl has never been economical with the truth before!

Just because Axl wrote a letter, does that cure your scepticism, i have said it once and i will say it 1000 times, i will not believe sweet fuck all until that damn CD...or Microchip inserted into the brain(an indication of how long it could take) is playing full pelt in my CD player.

Dammit, 1 year ago i worshipped the ground Axl walked on and wouldnt have a bad word said about the guy....then i saw what was happening with VR....Speaking to the fans, shows, Movie Soundtracks, updates galore, press releases, drugs charges(not a good thing) and i thought to myself....that used to be Guns N Roses.

Where has all that gone?

Im not saying i want Chris Pittman to go out, get high on crack and fuck a few prostitues whilst conveniently in the company of a reporter from The National Enquirier? Im saying in the music world.....DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Its all very well blaming Buckethead, its all very well blaming Geffen, its all very well blaming god, the devil....at the end of the day the music is Axl's baby..hes striving to create something pefect...thats just him....

Maybe he needs to get a grip on reality, wise up, release a 90% perfect album..which, lets face it would be the best the world has seen and start trailblazing across the globe again!

Lets face it, hes not getting any younger! And i for one want to see GNR again before i die preferably with some new music.

Or maybe im a moaning fool who knows nothing...u make your own decisions...ive made mine.

So this guy is obviously a Foos fan, big deal.  I, as a Guns fan, can say "dont get me wrong, Foos are great but they havent come with a song as magical as...just about any GNR song ever"      I'll probably look like a moron to them.  Actually, Everlong is decent.

Exactly...its like the many on here who go on about how much Nirvana and Kurt Cobain sucks.

And "Everlong" is a great song.  Actually, Foo Fighters have many great songs, theyre easily one of the best bands of the last decade.

I don't think I've ever had anyone say directly that Slash is crap, but I had an argument with a friend once about a top 100 guitarist list I heard about, in which Slash failed to be present (I never actually saw the list). I mentioned it to him, and he tried convincing me Slash didn't deserve to be in it. Seemed ridiculous to me, to suggest that. He didn't list 100 guitar players who were better than Slash though

Thats true but Britney hasn't sold out wembley etc etc, she's sold records but GN'R have sold over 80 million cd's, there are not many who have topped over 100 million, about 5 or 6, GN'R have sold 10 million in the lst 10 years, so that means from 87-93, they sold 70 million cd's, that is a fucking lot, and boy bands and britney spears and such have really only ever had 1 big album then gone into obscurity, GN'R influenced alot of ppl and became legends in a short space of time
