Does anyone have the dates of when Izzy played a few concerts with GNR in 1992 and 1993?

Why did Izzy come back?

Gilby Clarke broke his forearm and could not play, so rather than cancelling the shows, Axl called Izzy and asked him to stand in for those shows.

Izzy and I grew up together, and that means we're kind of like a family, even if we don't agree on everything.

--Axl, 1993

However, more bad blood broke between the guys upon Izzy's return.  Apparently, Izzy demanded about two million dollars for the few shows he performed.  Evidently, the reason was that Izzy was pissed because of all the curfew violation fees that came out of his paycheck when Axl was the one showing up late.

But that didn't sit too well with Axl, and along with Gilby's revelations (quoted below), Axl started blasting Izzy on stage every night after he left the tour.

I was talking to Izzy on one line, and he asked me 'when are you coming back?'  Then Slash rings me on the other line, and says 'dude, when are you coming back?'  (laughs)  Izzy didn't want to be back in the band any more than the other guys wanted him back.

--Gilby Clarke, 1993

I have a bootleg for the May 30, 1993 show which features Izzy.   Smiley

Didn't he come back for a short time in 1992 as well, or was it just 1993?

It was just the 1993 shows. He played on the first leg of the tour from May to August in 1991.

Izzy came back on 1993, because Gilby had broken his wrist in a motorcycle accident.Correct me if I?m worng but I think these are the dates in wich Izzy played:

05.22.93 - Hayarkon Park, Tel Aviv, Israel
05.24.93 - Olympic Stadium, Athens, Greece
05.26.93 - Inonu Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey
05.29.93 - National Bowl, Milton Keynes, England
05.30.93 - National Bowl, Milton Keynes, England

Quote
Axl started blasting Izzy on stage every night after he left the tour.

That?s true, every night since Izzy left, Axl would go off on Izzy before they played Double Talking Jive.

Did they play 14 years or dust and bones for the shows Izzy was back? I doubt they would change the set lsit for him but they had a pretty loose idea of what it was anyway from what I always heard. Also who sang double talkin jive on the verses? Izzy or Axl?

I didn't realize Axl blasted him because they didnt like each other, i thought it was because Axl really wanted him back. Maybe i'm wrong

They didn't play those songs. It was always Axl who sang DTJ live.

I think thats the reason to - Axl must have felt betrayed and i think that's what motivated his 'rants'
