What requirements do you have for people to be your moderators? Someday, could I be a moderator?

Yeah, you don't apply to become a moderator, you just get asked because you're super cool.

So if I were you, and wanted to become a moderator, I'd delete this thread before jarmo sees it. Otherwise he'll put you on the list of people who can never be moderators...And I'm not allowed to tell you who's already on there.

13 years of experience at a similar job
must be 22 or older
must not visit other GNR or VR forums or sites (unless you own one and that's the only one you can visit)
must pay an initial fee of $13.000 (must be paid ONLY to me)
must know a member (or an ex member) of the band
it would be good if you knew who killed JFK
must not ask if you can be a moderator

Since I've been asked this question more than once, I'll answer it.

I pick people who have been around for a while, who I think understands what this board is about and who I think could do the "job".

Then there's other things like trying to have a mix of different people from different countries and different ages.


Used Illusions is kinda right about not asking. The funny thing is that I've never added a moderator when somebody was asking how to become one. Usually when people ask, we're not adding moderators at that point.
