In Don't Cry I thought it was 'Cuz ur havin a ball here baby'   when it was 'Theres a heaven above you baby'

Also Yesterdays  'Oh big shoes that i'll always see'  instead of 'Old pictures that i'd always see'

You've drawn sketches too many times

You've gone sketchin' too many times
          Me too

SCOM- 'Now in Nam when i see her face'

Most of these were when i was 11 so... hihi

On Pretty Tied Up, Axl says 'cool and stressing' but it sounds very much like Cool Ranch Dressing.

Ok, I'm not trying to be funny as Saffron has, but I do remember not too long ago I thought in Paradise City Axl sang " Captain America is gonna fuck now" instead of " C.A's been torn apart now"
I still don't know exactly what Axl sings during the outro of Paradise City.  What does he say after "I wanna see...."  I've never been able to make that out.  Can anyone clear that up?

I used to think it was "Runners end up walking/in the cold November rain" instead of "I'll just end up walking/in the cold November rain"  I was 13 and it made sense!

I used to think it was

If you need a shoulder, or if you need a friend, I'll be here standing, untill.... the picture ends !

instead of " the bitter end "

I always thought "Captain America's been torn apart" was "trapped in a marriage that's been torn apart"

Nightrain. For the longest time, I thought it was:

"Well I'm a west-coast struttin', one FAT mother..."

Soon after, I was corrected to 'one BAD mother..."

all it takes is one word, one lyric.

"I see your sister in a sunday dress . ....................................................".

What does Axl say after "dress" in "It's So Easy"  I have always been singing "you got the needs to try your best".  I know that isn't it.

Any help?

she's out to please, she pouts her best  ok

From Locomotive:

It's these "pressed against" illusions

To the "how does it feel?"

This is a fun topic. Here are two GNR lyric's that I always got wrong.

From Dead Hoarse: "Still wet behind the years" suppose to be "ears"

From Breakdown: "Just because you're women, Don't mean you're the lucky ones"

Suppose to be "Just because you're winnin' Don't mean you're the lucky ones"

I kind of like the lyric with "women" more than "winnin'".  I use to really like that lyric when I thought it was "women", but I guess it makes sense with winnin' as well?.lol

Wow, seriously? I've always thought the line was "Cool ranch dressing."

It mentions that in the album. It says, "[pronounced "kool ranch dressin'"]" or something like that. They intended that one.

As for my misheard lyric, it's been mentioned, but not in this form:

Original: If we could see tomorrow, what of your plans
My first hearing: If we could see tomorrow, what of your pants

Made sense to me back then.

Me and my mate thought sweet child of mine was:

Oh oh oh sweet dynamite!!!

Very silly looking back but funny. Once we knew the name of the song it was pretty obvious we were singing the wrong words...

Drivin' your friends crazy with your wife's insanity, My Michelle.
Oops.

Funny, now that i know just about all the lyrics to all the songs, i cant even remember what i used to sing.  I know i used to fuck up nightrain, but i dont remember where.

And Locomotive, but i cant remember where anymore.
