Anybody ever see any of that home video stuff from the DVDs?  How hilarious was that stuff?  MTV's Jackass was just a rip-off of Pantera's everyday lives.  The best part is when Phil is on stage, and he's singing the closing line of Stairway To Heaven for some reason.  As he's singing it, this fat dude dressed like an angel starts swinging around the stage suspended by a chord.  He slams into Phil from behind and knocks him right of the stage!

Has anyone heard the old Pantera stuff from the 80's? It's kinda funny, kinda cool. Phil had some crazy vocals back then. But nothing like the Pantera we know.

Check it out!!!!

Power Metal

Check out their Hair!!!! Awesome stuff ok Cheesy

Yes, the band seemed to shy away from that era of their lives...why i dunno because it shaped their sound for all of their excellent 90's albums.

The only song they seemed to keep in their live sets was "The Art Of Shredding"!

The Art of Shredding is from Cowboys isn't it? The picture and song are pre-cowboys

I've heard Pantera's very first album with songs like Ride My Rocket, Nothing On But The Radio, and that really gay ballad they had.  I love hair metal, but that first Pantera album is bad.  That's before they got Phil though.  I'd really like to hear Power Metal.  I've heard good things about that one.

I think it's like a Dimebag greatest performances and highlights kinda thing but I can't remember for sure. And i don't have that mag here with me, Tongiht or tommorrow i will Type that part out for everyone. I'm not gonna do the whole interview though it's like 6-7 pages long!!!! It's good though. He talks about when Dime got killed and it was pretty fucking sad man!!! I almost cried for fuck sakes! rofl It's still a huge fucking tragedy IMO Seriously I gotta say he was one of the Best Guitarists of my time. And there is a lot of great fucking players out there.

Vinnie also talks about how pantera got together, how they got their record contract and him and Dime growing up and how Pantera Broke up. And the future of Damage plan and The unrealeased recordings he has of Pantera And Damageplan and Dime. It's a really good read.
