all the caracters are well played, not only Achiles (Brad Pitt's)

So...

You haven't seen the film then?

Paris? Helen? Played well?!

Oh, and you should have been bothered if Brad Pitt hadn't have played Achilles. He helped take that film up another level.

Is this thread about nominations to best actor, about how attractive Pitt could be, about films or about some phony couple splitting up ?

PS : Orlando Bloom has ditched his girlfriend  Grin Wink

well i wanted this thread to be "the brad pitt" thread

so i started it with the split and figured it would evolve into an entire thread about him. i didnt wanna start two seperate threads.

Orlando Bloom's character was such a little bitch in that movie which made the ending very disgusting

SPOILER DO NOT READ IF U HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE

he shouldve been killed earlier but bitched out and ran to hector so it really pissed me off that such a little weak fuck like Paris could end up being the one that killed the greatest warrior who ever lived.

just didnt sit well with me.

OK... OK... I'm all about women having an equal place and everything.  I don't accept this "wives should know thier place" bullshit.

On the other hand, did Jennifer NOT know that Brad wanted children?  Was this not a discussion that was approached before marriage?

If Jennifer doesn't want to have Brad's children, I'd be happy to.   Cheesy

I'm glad my hubby doesn't read this board.

Bottom line -

Brad Pitt is a good actor.  Not a great actor.  Still very underrated though.

Troy was a great film, though perhaps not quite as well done as Braveheart or Gladiator.

Unlike D or SLCPUNK, you will never find The Dude describing Brad Pitt as "sexy."  Guess I'm not as "comfortable with my sexuality" or whatever.

That said, if I had to bet on who most women would pick between Gilbert Godfried and Brad Pitt, my money would be on the latter...

Personally, i hate the looks of Brad Pitt. I much prefer orlando Bloom, or Jude Law, or or or, but NOT Pitt. He hasn't got grace.

Hmm, 'Spoiler Warning'.

Well, it was bad enough that they killed Mezentius and Agamemnon. (There's even a play about his return from Troy! And he died there?!)
Having someone other than Paris kill Achilles would have strayed even further from the source material and would have made readers of Homer eat their own faces.

Try me !

Of course i would, he isn't to my taste and that's my last word  Grin hihi hihi

Actually, i wouldn't kick him out of bed since i WOULD NOT LET HIM ANYWHERE NEAR IT. Grin

His face is gross. He has got fatty hands. He is not thin enough. His lips are too full. Too tanned.

Good actor, i agree, but he is gross.

Paris was played well, he was meant to be a fuckin gutless annoying retard. As for Helen, she was OK, but I wouldn't start a war over her.

But you got me, it's true that I wouldn't be very much into this movie if it wasn't for Brad Pitt. But that's why he gets tens of millions of dolars, his brilliance sells movies

Yeah, what about them?  Is there a problem when a female says what's on most guy's minds?

Jessica surprised me and so did the guys saying that Jennifer isn't hot, but we're all different so it just goes to show... Grin

I agree.  The complete shift from the actual events of the story let me down.  I thought it ruined the movie.

I also got a little tired of Pitt's jump move after the 20th time.

Hmm, I can't think why most [females] rejoice when celebrity couples split up. Cynicism or jealousy ... it's your call.
