It's the news fans have been waiting for: After a triumphant trek across North America in 2010 and Europe in 2011, and following record-breaking sales for the early 2012 South American dates, today comes word that Roger Waters' The Wall Live tour will return to North America for a second batch of dates beginning in May.

This leg of the The Wall Live tour will visit many cities that were missed during the first and will return to a number of others for repeat performances, many in larger venues than before. Each of the newly announced dates can be found in the chart below.

Many of our RogerWaters.com presales for these new dates will begin Monday, November 7. If you'd like to participate, be sure to log in and update your list of cities. If you don't have an account yet, create one now.

Also, please note that our presale for Philadelphia begins tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, so if you?d like to be eligible for that sale, please select ?Philadelphia? as one of your cities now.

I got a chance to see them last November in Philadelphia. It was my best show ever besides all my Guns N' Roses shows!  beer

July 1st = Fenway Park (heard from a friend)
July 6th = Yankee Stadium (heard from a friend)

Take it with a grain of salt they are just trying to finalize the the details for making it work with Fenway and Yankee Stadium. Was tipped off about this about 2 months ago with those exact dates for NYC/Boston so guess it's just a matter of time!

agreed, show was incredible.  I saw one of the MSG shows last year and it was absolutely amazing.  I am going to be out of town 4th of July weekend next year so unfortunately I will be missing this.

I strongly recommend this, although I am curious to see how it would look outside.  I don't think I would like it as much, but who knows!

Saw Waters on a late night show a few weeks ago and he said he's going to NY next year with it

For those who have seen it, what exactly is it all about?

Is it based on the movie, is it him playing the soundtrack, ...both?

They play the whole album and the stage effects were fucking great. I thought I was in the 70's. All I can stay is just go and you wont regret it! I had a few too many of the "Run Like Hell" jack & coke deal.  hihi Missed a few songs cause of that.  Sad Not going to make the same mistake next year.  ok

I saw it last December at Honda Center in Anaheim.  It was spectacular.  Been listening to The Wall since I was about 3.  As an adult, the songs have taken on a much deeper meaning.  I would almost go again, but I feel like I already experienced it.  Me and my friends would always watch the movie The Wall, and analyze it.  Seeing it live also made me appreciate certain songs more... like the last few songs on Disk 1.

My favs on the album have always been those obscure ones, and you're right..getting older does intensify the meanings

I wonder what the 1980 Roger Waters, who refused 1 million dollars to play the JFK Stadium, would think of the 2011 Roger Waters...  Huh

"Chris Salewicz: But I heard that the rest of the Floyd wanted to do The Wall tour in stadiums. And that was one of the reasons you ultimately knocked the Pink Floyd on the head...

Roger Waters: Yes, in 1980 when we finished in New York, Larry Maggid, a Philadelphia promoter - I remember him promoting us there at The Electric Factory when we were supporting Savoy Brown - offered us a guaranteed million dollars a show plus expenses to go and do two dates at JFK Stadium with The Wall. To truck straight from New York, where we'd been playing Nassau Colosseum, to Philadelphia. And (laughs) I wouldn't do it. I had to go through the whole story with the other members. I said, "You've all read my explanations of what The Wall is about. It's three years since we did that last stadium and I saw then that I would never do one again. And The Wall is entirely sparked off by how awful that was and how I didn't feel that the public or the band or anyone got anything out of it that was worthwhile. And that's why we've produced this show strictly for arenas where everyone does get something out of it that is worthwhile. Blah-blah-blah. And, I ain't fuckin' going!" So there was alot of talk about wether Andy Bown could sing my part. Oh, you may laugh - this is what's happening now, isn't it? And in the end they bottled out. They didn't have the balls to go through with it at that point."

The Wall is probably one of the pop musics most bloated self serving albums of all time.

I saw this show in Manchester last year and would definitey go again, an amazing show, never seen anything like it. Trust me, even if you are not a massive Floyd fan you will still love this show. It was quite expensive and we didn't have great seats but that didn't matter. I think it's one of those shows that no matter where you are sat, you will still have a great time.

Anyone else catch this tour?
Saw it at Fenway Park last night. Wasn't sure what to expect as far as the show or sound quality at a ballpark, but I was pretty damn impressed on both fronts.
Definitely recommend checking it out if you can score tickets. They aren't exactly giving them away, though..
