i believe this is an izzy song? am i wrong?

it's mostly insturmental...doesn't mean it's bad...although I agree I would've liked more lyrics...

if ur gonna hate a song...i think u should hate "mmm bop" by Hanson or "La La" by Ashlee Simpson...

Don't waste your hate on something at least half assed vs something that bares no ass at all....

Oh my god, are you for real???  (no offend) This song is one of my favorites on uyi 1!!! I could think of a lot songs that are way less good!! And you should listen to this song live in paris 1992. With the warren beatty rant and the long intro it's absolute killer!!!

You're fucking crazy. DTJ is a great song, easy to play and a great song to play live. The riff is catchy too...

hearing/watching it performed live is the killer. I think Matt is such a fucking goon. his drums blow, the bass blows, the lyrics are few and far between. I will say the only "effort" comes from Slash, but seeing as he would do the same extended solo every night they played this, maybe it wasn't such an effort overall. I still think the song's pretty lame and Hanson has more than one good song!

You're a Double Talkin' Jive MuthaFucker if ya don't like this song?yet like Hanson rant
Even without the spanish guitar solo and outro the main riff is fuckin' brilliant and easy to play, the bass is cool and the vocals obviously kick ass. It could use another four verses, I don't think it's great live. Come on even My World is beter than Hanson? Grin

well,
listening to that song for almost 13 years, there's not much that can be done. just wondering why it's such a hyped song. then again, is there ever an answer to these questions?

Just listen to the lyrics alone without the music, I find them very meaningfull and true to life, now listen to the lyrics of a certain Hanson song? Roll Eyes? Now listen to the music and tell me how Hanson could be in any way even compared to it in musical genious? Huh

On the album, it's one of the only songs you can hear Izzy play the rhythm guitar cause Slash does'nt double it.  Also, live it has a great intro before it breaks into song.

When I was in a band last summer we all had very different musical tastes so we were picking covers songs to play at this thing in my town. We each got to pick one song since we were doin 4 covers. I picked DTJ. So I am gonna have to heartily disagree with your sentiments on what I feel is a song with great lyrics and a fucking kick ass riff.
