Gilby was cool but Izzy absolutely.

Gilby owes his whole career to Izzy Stradlin.

Without Izzy GNR would never have become such a famous band. If Izzy hadnt left Gilby Clarke would not have been shot to instant fame by being "Izzys Replacement". None of you would even know who Gilby Clarke was if he hadn't been Izzys replacement, and he certainly wouldnt have been able to finance his own records.

Saying that, Pawn Shop Guitars is an awesome album. Almost as good as Ju Ju Hounds  Grin

Pawnshop Guitars is a very good album, and one that I own and spin when the mood strikes me.  Tijuana Jail, Hunting Dogs, and the title track are the highlights for me.
