Its the biggest Rock Festival in Austria, last year they had also a very good lineup: SOAD Marilyn Manson Green Day Audioslave and so on. Last year it was a 4 days Festival.
I don't think they would write lie on their website.

Well if this is for real more festivals are bound to be in the pipeline so...

I will start hoping they will play Graspop this year!!

(Axl) That festival is on my birthday this year!! That would be an awesome present!!

If not Graspop, Werchter would be cool too!!! See I'm not being picky at all!! hihi

well. ?they have replaced Layne before with some Maynard guy for the big tsunami a last year

they don't have an official site that's any more up to date than GNRonline.com, sadly.

they've got a fuck of a lotta good acts for this, though.

I might be wrong but I think Jerry does the singing for AIC.

Jerry sang lead on some songs, and harmonized on most of them.  I forget the guy who sang for them for the Heart show(s), but supposedly he fills Layne's shoes decently enough.

i think this backs up the rumours i've heard over download aswell. kerrang! hinted at it. and it seems that GnR will be doing the european festival circuit.

Maynard from Toll did sing with AIC in the Tsunami Relief, but Toll will be playing in the festival too, so I believe that is very unlikely that Maynard will be singing in both bands you know
oh, I forget, the singer of Damageplan ( R.I.P Dimebag ) did sing with them too, maybe he?s the one  Smiley

Off topic, but this is the guy I was talking about:

http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=47061

COMES WITH THE FALL vocalist/guitarist and member of Jerry Cantrell's (ALICE IN CHAINS) touring band William DuVall has been tapped to sing lead vocals with the reunited ALICE IN CHAINS at the taping of an episode of VH1 Classic's "Decades Rock Live!", a tribute to HEART that will take place March 10 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. "The show promises to be a lot of fun ? an all-star miniature 'Last Waltz' scenario, with jamming between the two honorees and famous friends of both bands stepping in to lend a hand," stated DuVall. "I am honored to be a part of such an historic occassion." Also appearing on the program will be former JANE'S ADDICTION/RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist Dave Navarro and Gretchen Wilson. A spring air date for the show is to be announced shortly.
