I've never heard of a cover of the song.  Those last 4 songs on UYI 1 kick ass.  Great, underrated songs.  Don't Damn Me, Bad Apples, Dead Horse, and Coma.  One of my favorite sequences on any album.

That is true.  November Rain, The Garden, and Garden of Eden.  Let's put it this way.  I bought the tape originally, before I changed over to CD's and the 2nd side of the tape started off with NR.  That was one damn fine 2nd side.

Yeah, definitely one of my fav GN'R tunes - the riff, the solos, the lyrics/vocals, everything about it is awesome. Don't you love it how Slash can sound so dirty and sloppy, yet it all flows so well together? That's what I love about his playing.

Anyway, I don't know of any covers, but I worked out how to play the riff to the song a few years ago, and play it every now and again. Fun riff to play that's for sure beer

Written by: "Don't Damn Me" was written by Axl, Dave Lank and Slash. The lyrics were written by Axl, while the music was written by Slash. Dave Lank's contribution is unknown.
Written in: "Don't Damn Me" was written in or before 1989.

Performed live: "Don't Damn Me" was never played live.

In Their Own Words:

Slash: I love that song. That's one of those songs I introduced to the band that was already complete

That song really, really rocks.  It has an impressive solo and is played fast for Slash standards.  Good stuff.  Great Vox by Axl too!

Im probably wrong but I thought Paul Tobias (Huge) co-wrote it, or at least got some credit for the song. I swear I read that a few years ago...it might be another song but Im not sure

DDM is my favorite Gn'R song (probably behind SCOM but...), everything in it is perfect.  Plus putting it right after Garden of Eden (another favorite) and a couple songs before Coma (another favorite) makes the end of UYI1 such a great part.

If it weren't for Bad Apples, You Ain't the First, and Live and Let Die Use Your Illusion 1 would be my favorite Gn'R album.

The riff of Don't damn me is great, but somehow the song lacks something. I don't know what.

And Bad Apples is one of my favourite GN'R tracks.  ok

Of course not. There is no song that'd need some Dizzy Reed piano works.  no
