Sorta a GNR-type band.  Metal but still tuneful.  A great band for anyone who likes rock  [ok]

Sadly they are over [crying] but they did some great music...Mustaine is the best example that there is always a second chance after parting ways with your original band.

Yes, Megadeth rocks, I agree. Mustaine rules and the decline of Metallica started when he was kicked out. (Note: The previous statement was only an opinion, not an attempt to state a fact. So feel free to disagree if you want, but please dont tell me my opinion is wrong. Thank You)

Just out of curiosity though, I read where you mentioned that you got kicked out of the Megadeth board a few times. Are you trying to convert this place to a Megadeth site as well, because every thread that I have seen you either start or reply to has mentioned Megadeth.

Don't take this wrong, I just found it amusing.

The first big change I felt was AJFA. I didn't say that those album's sucked, actually I think those were their last great albums. I only meant that Mustaines writing is all over the first two albums, and I thought there was a decline after that. It's actually more of a compliment to how great the first two albums were.

I see what you mean.  I appreciate you being nice about it.  No.  Its just I was curious to see if any fans were here. I tend to get along with ppl who like the same music I do.  Aside from Gnr.

Is Mustaine playing guitar on the new album? It will be a shame if he hasn't been able to recover

Its good to hear Megadeth are back (and with yet another line up - damn they change more than GNR)

After having laid dormant for a few years, Megadeth is now going to release a new album called THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED about a month from now!  I haven't heard anything about this.  Does anybody know what the lineup is gonna be, any rumours about the album's musical direction, etc, etc?

the iTunes music store (iTunes.com) has three songs available as a pre-release EP and the official web site (megadeth.com) has a e-card that plays the first single "Die Dead Enough"

The single kicks serious ass!!! I haven't bough any Megadeth albums since Cryptic Writing, but I plan on getting this one. The song changes tempo a couple of times, I love that, and it's aggressive and heavy. I don't know about the lineup, but I think Marty Friedman is out.

Is Mustaine on guitar - has he recovered from his injury? Megadeth without Mustaine on guitar would be a sorry sight

Marty Friedman quit way back in '99. Nick Menza's back though. ok
