I am so into Megadeth now, it just clicked one day, they are now easily one of my favourite bands now, superb! Just think 1 month ago just didn't like them at all....

No it was a deliberate choice, firstly i just wanted to enjoy the gig and not have to fight for 2 hours (the crowd was insane, there were brawls and the amount of crowd surfing, never seen anything like it)

However the main reason (after all i was in the pit for Slayer/Slipknot a few months back) was that i am so pissed off standing behind some 6ft 10'' monster, on the balcony i got a perfect view peace

megadeth rule. rust in peace is the best album ever. 5 magics is cool i like the long intro. i think dave's voice is awesome, so many people hate it but i think it's original, one of a kind.

yeah so do I. metallica used to be my favourite band but maybe ive listened to metallica too much. and i just bought rust in peace and peace cells about 2 weeks ago so ive been listening to those cds non stop.

Yeah, Megadeth is awesome.  Rust In Peace might be the greatest metal album of all time.  The only knock on them is that they've had so many lineups.  It seems like Dave gets a new band for each album.  The RIP lineup were around for a few albums, and I would say that was there prime.  However, the new lineup is really good.  I saw them in November and they put on an amazing show.  Word has it they're even better now.

i guess dave isnt easy to get along with. when he was in metallica he poured beer on mcgovney's bass amp and he got an electric shock or somehing like that. lars and james got sick of him so they kicked him out. if he had stayed in metallica they probably would have broken up by now.

Fav album...hmm toughie, i like all of them that i have (killing is my buisness is on order)

Rust in Peace is probably my favourite with Countdown to Extinction my least favourite - that album just doesn't work for me, while the others do....

Fav songs - thats tough, but just of the top of my head

Album: Rust In Peace...one of the best metal albums of all time.  Amazing musicianship and lyric writing throughout the album.  The whole thing is so clean and perfect its scary.  Song : Holy Wars...crazy riffs and solos, and of course great lyrics.  Hangar 18 and Tornado Of Souls are also ridiculously good.
