I've just got my ticket for this. I can't wait. Any news on whos supporting. I heard Avenged Sevenfold or Bullet For My Valentine but there is no news on either website regarding these dates.

I don't think this event will sell out immediatley to be honest, although I could be wrong. I'm anticipating a large amount of tickets to sell but the MEN has three levels (standing, middle and upper seating). Every gig I have been too, the upper tier has been tapered off so I think there is a good chance that tickets will still be available by the 9th of June. Just be prepared to have to settle for upper tier at the worst  Grin

Awesome I'm going, my first GNR gig  yes

how quick do you guys think this show will sell out,my bro wants tickets but cant afford them till after the dublin gig

I honestly wouldn't expect this show to sell out, I'm fairly sure they plug the MEN as the biggest indoor arena in the UK if not europe but I may be wrong about that, either way it's quite big. I've been 3 times and only once was all 3 sections sold out, that was for the Darkness in 04. When I saw VR there the top tier was taped off and they had an album to promote, however GNR is a bigger name but have no album to promote, so it's hard to say which will sell more. Anyway I'm rambling but to answer your question my guess is yes tickets will be available after the Ireland show  ok

Both tiers are open too for seating, so that makes the capacity even larger.

Snap for me, I love Avenged, haven't heard a lot of BFMV but what I have heard I didn't like. I just looked on the Aveneged site and it says that they are playing a show in Europe then so that looks out of the equation Sad

The MEN holds 23000 people I believe and it is considered the biggest indoor arena in Europe. Thats what it said on a flyer when VR played there.

yo all, i'm going to this gig and i suggest we all get a dust n bones chant going as soon as Izzy comes onstage (assuming he does, i'll be very disapointed if he doesnt). it wouldn't be very rock n roll of the band to ignore us if we get the whole place shouting DUST-AND-BONES.

i was at the gig last night, it was really cool, didnt bother going in to see the support acts just had a few drinks instead, went into the arena jusyt after 9, as long as the girls kept taking theyr tops off i didnt mind waiting foir the band

when the band did come on the place when bananas, and afetr a few songs we quickly found ourselve right at the front of the stage, the crowd really got into it, even in the seated section the crowd were standing for most of the show

by was i glad for the first solo, just a chance for the crowd to relax for a bit cos the heat was unbearable at times, even playing football i dont think i sweat so much!!!

once again axl was great (lol thats twice i said that now!!!!) he was also in a really good mood and was laughing and joking most of the gig, tho he should have been turned up a bit more in the mix

im still not sure what to make of bumble, at times he looks a bit out of place and doesnt seem to interact as much with the rest of the band, maybe hes still getting to know them tho axl did seem to be helping him out, his solo was a bit of a disaster too, his sound cut out half way through it, and to rub salt in when he went to talk to the crowd the mic wouldnt work either, when they got it fixed he went straight in to dont cry

the rest of the band were solid once again, although tommy looks miserable, fortus is cool, he really gets into it, bashing his axe round and stuff, glad we were his side of the stage, i was hoping him or someone would come of the stage over to the crowd but it didnt happen

its hard to compare this to the dublin show, it was an outdoor gig in daylight wait a larger crowd while this was more intimate been indoors, tho it was much cooler been at the front and they played 2 extra songs i think

i would have liked to have heard TWAT but kinda knew that wouldnt happen, also would have like to have heard rocket queen but i cant really complain

they finished about 12:40am and i dont think anyone was disapointed, i wasnt anywayand relieved that all the money spent on taxis flights and hotels was well worth it

oh yeah it was cool to see izzy playing, it was funny too cos during his first song, he went over and turned up his amp, at least he knows these days if his amps turned down lol

just have to wait and hope they come back now when the albums released

wot a gig, was well worth the wait!!! Couldn't stand Towers of London tho they were terrible the singer needed shootin, they did a cover of freebird, n now i hate that song cos of them!!! Bullet were gud, they did a gud setlist but every time i listen to them i still think "rip off of trivium", but they were a gud support act would go n watch them on their own.

If it weren't for the millions of boobs i wud have got pissed with guns but it all went away as soon as i they rocked the stage, frinck looked well cool!!! If i had to say somethin couldn't understand y they didn't play Catcher in The Rye, thats suppose to be the big single they will release, but Better was brilliant live didn't think they'd be able to pull it off. Gotta admit the little instrumental intervals got annoyin after a while got to a point were just want to throw me shoe at drummer for em to play a song! But they played everythin i wanted n IZZZZY rocked!!!! He was brilliant, and Axl was better than ever, his voice still sounds shit hot!!

But overall i'd have to say that was the best gig i have ever been to, brilliant set list, brilliant band, brilliant musicians, can't wait for the next one!!!

^^ my sentiments exactly. shame the dust n bones chant didnt work, i blame a lack of participation from the crowd! at least izzy was there though, it got quite late on and i didnt think he was gonna show. great gig!

You remember guys the moment when Axl said "Don;t spoil with that..." ... before that he said there's a time for introduction and I screamed Sebastian...and later he said that thing looking at me cause it was Izzy who later got on stage

the concert was great, the sound of the band ws much better than in Poland, Axl was in great mood on Knockin' On Heaven;s Door he screamed the stuff exactly the same as in Wembley '92... damn they didn't play You Gotta Move but it was really nice to see Izzy again Smiley

english fans were great anyway but the people standing with me a little bit into right just before the stage... didn't know the lyrics of Don't Cry - polish fans made it a little bit louder  Wink
