The Hangover

The Hangover was a classic

I just wonder whether making a sequel was a bad move.  Undecided

If you have seen the preview - it looks exactly like the first one....

Scream 4. I think it was good for a movie since the last one was around 10 years ago.

Scream 4. It was amazing! Wes Craven is truely the master or horror! I just wish he would do another Nightmare.

 peace

Is there gore in it? I was pondering if I should see it or not but I do not like gore.

Yeah it's pretty Gorey. I loved it. I really can't see why there has been so many bad reviews on it.

Movies like Scream 4 and Adam Sandler flicks always get bad reviews cause people try to judge everything on an academy award scale.

it won't change your life, its nothing amazing but its worth the cash for a couple hours of popcorn mindless entertainment.

Pirates 4 - It works perfectly well as a film and does not disappoint if you are a fan of the series. It builds slowly and has humor, as per the previous films, and it has that Shakesperian multi ending, as per the previous films. Yet, I would say it is not as strong as the previous films, but it is still ok, and Disney will profit well from the film. Do not waste your money for 3D.

Rio - Seen twice now due to spoiling various members of my family. It is a very good film, but not great, and the 3D is limited. Rio itself has been recreated in an amazing way though. I do feel the 3D option was wasted a little tho.

Thor - It delivers without being an absolute classic. I liked Thor, the actor, I enjoyed the humor and the story was ok. The end did not justify the movie, but it was ok. I am still looking forward to the rest of the Avengers journey, Cap Am next.

Insidious - Great horror movie. It was intense throughout. A throwback to some older horror movies.

Other films I have enjoyed are Limitless, Red Riding Hood and Source Code.

The end did not upset me, it was just daft. The whole big robot scene was unneccesary. I will watch Transformers 3 and expect this kind of daftness, because that is part of the whole TF thing, but it did not fit Thor.

I understood that part. One has to remember that being a superhero is a curse. The thing they want the most is the thing they can never have.

Standard protocol for super peeps unfortunately.  hihi

Pirates 4. My first movie in Imax and I loved it. plot is kinda who knows where but still a fun, great entertaining flick

Hangover 2. worth seeing for the laughs. Kinda have to watch  it as its own movie and not try to compare etc..

I still haven't seen Thor or Fast Five

X-Men: First Class - great movie. First one this year that I've come out of the cinema just as excited about as I was when I went in.

It kind of did fit Thor, considering the Destroyer has been a big part of the comics that the movie was based on since 1965.

Yes...many people arent familiar with Thor as a comic, but I thought they did a pretty good job on it...either way they made enough for a part 2

Battle: Los Angeles.

Not a bad flick.  Plot is thin, but the action is good.  Kept me entertained for 105 minutes or so.

X-Men : First Class -  Excellent film, well thought out and well acted. It explains alot about the films later on, and I enjoyed Wolverine's short  cameo  hihi
