Who are most of those people? Are they big on the LA scene? The only players I know are the ones on SCOM.

Yeah, I saw it at WalMart.  Kind of funny that the title is in Chinese Democracy font.  Grin

Why's everybody so obsessed with the album?  Can't you just be happy that Axl gets to hang out with rich fashion designers? -MotherGooseLuvR

Pretty Tied Up - Reckless Fortune & Joe Lynn Turner/Tony Moore/Arno Hecht

Well JLT was in Deep Purple (for their worst album), Rainbow (their most poppy albums), has his own career...i think he's "famous"

Tracii Guns and Gilby Clarke playing Sweet Child O' Mine...thats funny for some reason. Tracii should have played Don't Cry instead, seen as he claims to have written the music for it. He also played on an Appetite tribute...he's a bit obsessed with GnR tributes I think. I remember Slash was taking the piss out of him and all the other 80 metal dudes doing a tribute to GnR. The quote was something like: "These are all 80's metal has-beens, Tracii Guns plays on this for God's sake. This is the album they all wished they made!" So True.

That quote was in reference to the Appetite For Destruction tribute, but I think he'd have a similar opinion of this one.

Tribute albums.....meh.  Just about every band has at least one nowadays.

I still haven't come across a GN'R tribute album worthy to be a tribute to Guns N' Roses.  Probably never will.

didnt he also do the hollywood rose cd?remix tracks?

If I remember correctly I thought he also re-recorded new rythm tracks for it.  And did multiple mixes of each song.  I liked Gilby, he shoulda had Axl's vocals higher in the mix of his wild horses though, damn basterd.
