In the Bergen Record, which is a popular paper in Northern New Jersey, there was a listing of the ten best albums so far this year.  Next, they had a section entitled, "Other anticipated album releases."  The very first one was Guns N' Roses "Chinese Democracy," and it read as follows:  Now that Brian Wilson has released "Smile," it's time for Axl Rose to open the vault.  "Chinese Democracy" has been anticipated for the past 15 years or so.  In May, Rose said on a radio program that it would finally be released this fall.

Pretty good mention in my opinion!

In my local paper yesterday some guy rate the 10 best Classic Rock albums of all time and put AFD at #1. He's no expert (Nevermind at #3) but at least he got something right.

But if it's just 10, it's still the same fucked up thing, isn't it? I say he should release it this fall, or if he fucks up this comeback chance also, then he is over for the general public. (by that, i don't mean die-hard fans like we are)

Who cares? The general public has lost their faith on that thing long ago.

Err, don't tell me that there are 12000 hardcore GNR fans in each town where GNR played in the UK...

Of course not. But since when does that mean they believe CD is going to be released someday?

I didn't say it was going to be released.

All I said was if Axl should probably not fuck up this comeback, and release it until the hype is on, because it's likely that this is his last chance...

What are you on about? Did you even read what I wrote? I never said any of that. I was talking about the general public's belief in Chinese Democracy.

I see now. We were approaching it from 2 different directions. Sorry, it's kinda late here  Wink

But still, I fuckin' hope it's coming out as soon as possible (late fall) and I'm trying to rationalize it every way I can, I'm not an optimist by nature, but I'm tired of waiting that's been on since I'm 12... Cheesy
